Tabetha Steege, a talented and versatile soprano, recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance. Her passion for music and performance has led her to a wide range of exciting opportunities, showcasing her vocal prowess and artistic depth.
This past season, Tabetha has had the opportunity to perform in numerous productions, including Brew City Opera's production of Cosi Fan Tutte where she performed the role of Fiordiligi. Previously, Tabetha was a part of Brew City Opera’s heartwarming production of Amahl and the Night Visitors, where she covered the role of the Mother. She also performed as Tziporah in CBINT's concert of Prince of Egypt and as the Soprano Soloist for Handel's Messiah in Fine Arts at First's 17th annual sing-along concert.
Tabetha has had the privilege of collaborating with companies such as the Belle Ensemble, Brew City Opera, Milwaukee Opera Theater, Racine Theater Guild, and Berlin Opera Academy. Her repertoire includes notable roles like The Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Nella in Gianni Schicchi, Suor Angelica in Suor Angelica, Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Lucinda in Into the Woods, and The Assistant in the world premiere of It'll Never Work. This winter, Tabetha is excited to be invited back as Nymph 1 in MOT’s production of Rusalka, as well as performing as First Lady and Papagena in Brew City Opera’s production of Magic Flute.
Tabetha Steege has expanded her creative reach by venturing into social media and marketing, applying her artistic expertise to help arts organizations flourish. As Marketing and Social Media Manager for Brew City Opera, she develops and implements comprehensive marketing strategies, cultivates online engagement, and nurtures community relationships. Additionally, she serves on the board of Brew City Opera, contributing to the company's artistic and operational decision-making. Through this work, Tabetha has discovered a passion for empowering artists and organizations to tell their stories, build their brands, and connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. She continues to explore the intersection of art and marketing, utilizing her skills to make a positive impact in the arts industry.
